Inside the latest SonarQube Server 2026.1 LTA release: our most significant ever
Wednesday, February 18 at 5pm CET / 10am CST
As AI accelerates code production at an explosive rate, it has created a verification bottleneck and a profound trust gap. 96% of developers mistrust the accuracy of AI-generated code. Our latest, 2026.1 LTA release establishes SonarQube as the non-negotiable verification layer for the modern AI-driven SDLC where code is being written by Agents and AI native IDEs such as Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and Gemini. By unifying comprehensive code quality analysis, SAST, secrets detection, IaC scanning, mobile application security, and SCA (CVE detection, SBOM, license management, malware detection) into a single platform, SonarQube delivers the objective standards needed to bridge the AI trust gap.
Inside this release you’ll find:
- Enhanced code security
- Improved code quality and maintainability
- Expanded compliance and standards
- Broader language coverage
- AI (vibe, then verify)
- DevOps and AI native integrations
- Enterprise level operations
Why code quality is a compliance accelerator
